TopHat ® insert for carbon and aluminum arrows. Material: Aluminum (AL) Where aluminum is used for inserts because of its very low weight. Aluminum is corrosion resistant. Available in: 5/16 - 20gn, 40gn, 60gn TopHat ® insert technology: The TopHat ® insert is particularly long in order to transmit the force of impact as well on the shaft and thus to protect it. This results in significantly less stem breakage. The insert has a standard TopHat ® - threaded receiver, suitable for all commercial Einschraubspitzen with UNC thread. Installation: After about 60 seconds, the TopHat ® insert securely bonded to the carbon shaft (using TopHat ® Bond). The carbon shaft prior roughen the inside a bit and clean with a solvent. 1-2 drops TopHat ® Bond on the shaft of the insert type and stick with a twisting motion until it stops.
