TopHat ® insert conical, carbon and aluminum arrows for. Material: Aluminum (AL) Where aluminum is used for inserts because of its very low weight. Aluminum is corrosion resistant. Available in: 9/32 <5/16 - 40gn TopHat ® insert technology: The conical TopHat ® insert it permits to shoot to 5/16 tips on smaller 9/32 shafts. The insert is very long to transfer the force of impact as well on the shaft and thus to protect it. This results in significantly less stem breakage. The TopHat ® Insert has a standard taper - threaded mount, fits all standard Einschraubspitzen with UNC thread. Installation: After about 60 seconds, the TopHat ® insert securely bonded to the carbon shaft (using TopHat ® Bond). The carbon shaft prior roughen the inside a bit and clean with a solvent. 1-2 drops TopHat ® Bond on the shaft of the insert type and stick with a twisting motion until it stops.
